Brian Jewett specializes in fiscal analysis, financial services and strategic planning to local agencies. He is one of MuniFinancial's lead consultants for utility rate studies, user fee studies, Proposition 218 studies and for the formation of financing districts.
Mr. Jewett has 11 years experience working with state and local governments, including staff positions within the City and County of San Francisco, the County of San Diego, the City of Poway, California, and as a consultant to the Delaware Governor's Cabinet Committee on State Planning. For the State of California, Mr. Jewett led a study of the economic and public benefits of industrial development bonds, which was submitted to the Offices of the Governor, Treasurer and Controller as well as entered into public testimony of the California Debt Limitation Allocation Committee.
Mr. Jewett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Delaware.
