Frank G. Tripepi is President and Chief Executive Officer of MuniFinancial . He brings 32 years of experience in local government with him to the company. Twenty-eight of these years were as city manager for the City of Rosemead.
Upon Mr. Tripepi's retirement from the public sector, the California Contract Cities Association honored him for his 30 years of leadership and service to the citizens of the San Gabriel Valley by presenting him with its prestigious El Grande Matador Award. This award was presented to Ronald Reagan and Pete Wilson when each served as governor of California; Congressman Jerry Lewis is another recipient. Moreover, in April of 2004, Mr. Tripepi received an appointment to the very prestigious Rose Institute's Board of Governors, and to the Board of Directors of the Urban Water Institute in January, 2005. He also serves on the Board of Willdan Group, Inc., as well as MuniFinancial's Board of Directors.
Mr. Tripepi has earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from California State University at Fullerton, and has done graduate work at California State University at Long Beach and the Western State College of Law.
