 Steve Bearce
Mr. Bearce is Senior Project Manager of the Federal Compliance group, coordinating Arbitrage Rebate, Continuing Disclosure and GASB 34 engagements to ensure procedural integrity and timely compliance. He works closely with agency staff, trustees, bond counsel, underwriters, and project engineers to define projects and gather data necessary to meet the compliance needs of our Clients. His duties include staff supervision, workload distribution, statistical computations, report design and preparation, quality control, and compliance monitoring.
Mr. Bearce specializes in GASB 34 infrastructure valuation, continuing disclosure reporting, and arbitrage rebate computations for complex financings. He assists clients with IRS and SEC audit inquiries, and coordinates on-line data collection and document retention.
Mr. Bearce came to MuniFinancial in 2000 after 12 years’ experience with a major freight company where he served as tax accountant, senior accountant, and senior financial analyst responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Santa Clara University.
