 MuniFinancial assisted the Rescue Fire Protection District with the implementation of a Fire Suppression Assessment for the properties within the District's service area. Our methods and approaches provided an insight into the practical requirements of assessment implementation efforts, Proposition 218, relevant legislation and case law, as well as strategies to enhance the chances of success for the project. As a result, the District successfully implemented a new Fire Suppression Assessment. MuniFinancial continues to assist the District by completing the on-going administration by updating the district wide parcel database and calculating and levying the annual assessments.
