The selected individual will work with senior staff & clients to research, analyze and draft reports for issuers of tax-exempt debt. The individual must be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task.

Requirements include:

  • B.A./B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration;
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience as an analyst (preferably in arbitrage rebate reporting or other tax accounting field);
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word & databases;
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task;
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.


Government/Private Sector Consulting Analyst

Willdan Financial Services, a fast-growing government and private sector consulting firm, is seeking a consulting analyst, depending on experience and qualifications, for our Oakland, California office.

The immediate opening is in our company’s Financial Consulting Services (FCS) Group. The FCS group is a dynamic team that provides comprehensive fiscal and economic consulting services depending on specific client needs. The selected individual will work with senior staff & clients to research and analyze fiscal and economic projects, and prepare and present related spreadsheets and reports for our clients. The individual must be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task.

Requirements include:

  • B.A./B.S. in Economics, Urban or Regional Planning, Public Policy or Public Administration, and more than 1 year professional experience as an analyst (preferably in a government agency or government consulting firm), OR;
  • M.A. in Economics, Urban or Regional Planning, Public Policy or Public Administration preferably with economic or financial analysis emphasis;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word & databases; and
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
